What age is a loft bed suitable for?
We recommend loft beds from about 6 years – once your child uses the ladder safely on their own.
Which mattress fits?
The bed size is the mattress size, for example 90 × 200 cm. For the top bed we recommend a mattress 8–12 cm high so the guard rail stays high enough. You'll find matching ones under Mattresses – 15% off when bought with the bed.
Can the ladder go on either side?
Yes – the ladder is fitted right or left, depending on the room.
How much room is there under the bed?
111 cm in height, and with the 80 × 160 cm size around 170 × 87 cm of floor space – enough for a child's desk, a chest of drawers or a play corner.
What is the bed made of?
First-grade pine. The load-bearing parts are finger-jointed – that makes them stronger and they don't warp. All edges are rounded and sanded.
Why does Retro look different on the photos?
Retro is a stain that leaves the grain visible. In daylight it looks darker, in the evening warmer – and every piece of pine takes the colour a little differently. That makes every bed one of a kind.

KOSMO Loft Bed – loft bed in pine for small rooms
A child’s room has to be many things at once: a place to sleep, to play, to learn. The KOSMO loft bed moves sleeping upstairs and leaves 111 cm underneath: for a desk, a chest of drawers, shelves or a den made of blankets. In small rooms every metre counts.
Up top your child sleeps safely: the 30 cm guard rail runs all round, the ladder with flat rungs gives small feet a good hold and fits left or right. All edges are rounded and sanded.
KOSMO looks light: slim posts, profiled slats, clean lines. The bed suits Scandinavian rooms as much as classic ones – for girls and boys, as a first loft bed and for many years after.

The price includes the bed with a wooden slatted base. The mattress is available separately – you can add it directly when ordering. When bought as a set, you automatically get 10% off the mattress. You will find our mattresses under Children’s Mattresses.
Most models are available in 5 colours: Natural, Clear lacquer, White, Grey and Retro. Sizes range from 80×160 to 120×200 cm – depending on the model. You can see all the options in the configurator above.
All beds are made of FSC-certified pine wood and finished with non-toxic water-based paints compliant with EN 71-3. The construction supports up to 190 kg. The safety rail can be fitted on either side and removed at any time. You get a 5-year warranty.
